The Breakdown
01 Just Notice
I begin by slowing down and paying close attention to the world around me, how systems, objects, environments, and people behave, what exists, what's missing, and where tension lives. This is where everything starts.
02 Open Possibilities
From what I've observed, I let my mind open up. I ask what if and why not, imagining what could exist and how it should feel to experience it, without filtering too soon.
03 Understand
I dig deeper here. I research, ask harder questions, and pressure-test early ideas to figure out what actually holds meaning for the contexts I'm designing within, and for the work itself.
04 Refine Direction
With a clearer understanding, I start shaping. I explore visual directions, work through strategy, and define how all the pieces should come together into something intentional and coherent.
05 Navigate Making
Now I build. I prototype, experiment, and adjust, moving between making and reflecting until ideas start taking real form. This is where thinking becomes tangible.
06 Evolve the work
I push further. I refine the details, sharpen the clarity, and keep asking whether the work truly reflects the needs, values, and vision it was made for.
07 Yield
I step back and let go of what doesn't serve the outcome. This is about knowing when the work is done, trusting it enough to release it, so it can exist beyond me.
08 Launch to Destination
The work meets the world. It begins to communicate, connect, and create real experience, for the people, places, and purposes it was made for. This is where the intention behind every prior step becomes visible.
